Episode 113:
In 1999, Kentucky natives, Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, formed one of the most successful Country music duos of all time. Montgomery Gentry was a force to be reckoned with on Country radio and television for nearly 20 years, until Troy's tragic death in a helicopter crash. The group's Southern Rock influences are apparent throughout their catalog, including their 2004 release, You Do Your Thing. This album contained the single, "Gone" which peaked at #3. Notable studio musicians include Bekka Bramlett, Greg Morrow and Reese Wynans, all of whom played on the latest Chris Eger Band release, Show Me Where To Sign. OTW is engineered and mixed by Richard Williams @ Plum Tree Recording Studio.
